The search for Paddy Wotherspoon is over

After a long search for Paddy Wotherspoon, six years to be precise, I finally tracked him down on Brian Streetly's Royal Signals Website. Terry writes: I left 260 Signal Squadron in December 1969 and went to 222 (Sharjah) then 14 Sigs (Worcester) followed by 7 Arm'd Brigade before doing a 2 year stint with 233 Signal Squadron in NI. After a couple of jobs outside I ended up in the RUC for 20 years and I'm now a happily retired ex 'peeler'.

After receiving an email from Archie 'cos I signed on to the Sigs Web Site I thought I'd look up the 260 Sig Sqn site. Absolute cracker! brought back a lot of memories, and a lot of names too, keep up the good work!!! I must say it was good to see some of the guys I served with all those years ago and it brought back some good memories.

I also signed the guest book so anyone who knew me can get my email address.

thanks again, Regards, Terry

Vic George, Brian Shipton, Terry Roberts, Ken Bentley, Dougie Hart & SSgt Tom Kerr take the weight off their feet. They can't quite get the hang of those sea legs it seems.

Tom Kerr and the rest of the lads take a rest on the dockside. This group travelled over on the Doric Townsend-Thoresen Ferry.

That was a good trip 'Silver Service' steward. We were treated like royalty a bit better than those who travelled over on the LSL's!....
