Thirty one members attended the Squadron annual reunion in
Leicester this year. Those attending are as follows: Geoff & Beryl Scott,
Steve & Ulla Freeman-Pannett, Bill O'Halloran , Frank Woodall , Brian
Shipton & his wife, Chris & Ann Conroy, John Townson, Terry & Mary
Clarkson, Goldie Peters and his partner Deborah, Ted Williams & Son, Derek
Frape, Stan & Linda Howard, Les Harrison, John & Ann Seymour , Tony
Morgan , John Taylor , Pete Thomas, Bob & Janny Taylor and a warm welcome
to newcomers Ted & Mal Taylor and Alex Forbes.
"After our welcome at this years reunion what can I say but we
will be there next year. What a surprise who did I spot when we walked in Alec
Forbes who I have not seen since 1969 & then John Taylor arrived on his
bike. Anyway while Mal was checking in I went & got a beer & started to
chat to Alec about old times. I'd just like to thank everyone connected with
organising such a great reunion. Ted Taylor (Scouse)"
Alex John & Ted were delighted to be reunited after 36 years
and I am delighted to have played a small part in helping them re-establish
contact though the aid of this website.
Every year since this website was first established in 2001 it
has assisted in reuniting old friends. If you served in 260 Signal Squadron and
you haven't as yet made contact with us please spent a little time browsing
these pages where I have no doubt you will find the name of someone you served
with in the Squadron. There is no obligation to join us but we do hope you
will.
After you have had a good look round drop us a line to say hello.
Even if you don't want to join us, we still would like to hear from you. We are
always happy to answer any questions you may have so please don't hesitate to
contact us.
Click on the Emblem of Syrena below and follow the links through
four pages of photographs from the 2006 Reunion followed by a page of your
comments. Please feel free to send in your feedback. Constructive criticism is
welcomed after all this is your website and your views good or bad are of great
interest to me.
